RMProfiler for Credit Card Risk Management

RMProfiler is a sophisticated management tool designed to help ecommerce and mail order/telephone order business managers detect and minimise attempted fraud by their customers. The system offers benefits to anyone processing card not present (CNP) transactions whether they are received via the Internet or by telephone or fax.

Implementation of RMProfiler has led to some significant results by way of a dramatic reduction in the fulfilment of fraudulent orders and the associated reduction in “charge backs”.

RMProfiler can be provided as part of an integrated iSAMS (Internet Sales and Management System) solution, as manually accessed service with browser interface or as a web service.

Merchant administrators can quickly set up a base profile specific to their operation. This profile records normal order value and typical frequency of purchase when back grounded in relation to all orders and customers they deal with.

The system also includes user definable ratings for destination Shipping Country, Destination City, ISP, specific email address, IP identification, address matching plus many other elements. The workflow allows for a “rating or score” to be calculated for each order received; this is typically prior to the merchant ordering product from his supplier or picking products from stock for shipment. “At Risk” are quickly identified and sidelined for further verification before processing.
