Briscoe Group Online Sales Soar

Congratulations Briscoes on your half year results!

Briscoe Group increased their online sales by +99.8 percent in the first quarter, during the period 27 January 2020 to 26 July 2020. Online sales accounted for 22.1 per cent of total group sales, previously 16 per cent.

With the move to lockdown in March the Group’s online business experienced extraordinary growth which has continued to be strong since stores reopened. This exceptional increase in online sales was facilitated by eStar’s powerful order management solution where scalability was vital during the pandemic, this allowed Briscoes to maximise their opportunity for growth. For example, Briscoe Group completed the roll-out of ‘Click and Collect’ across all stores and for the period of August Click and Collect accounted for over 30% of all online orders.

Furthermore, Briscoes almost maintained profits compared with the year prior, even though 50 of their stores were unable to open during lockdown. While many retailers struggled during this period, Briscoes were able to grow their online sales and retain customers.
