Harrolds exceeds online sales targets

Congratulations to eStar client Harrolds for their incredible results since launching in February 2020.

The online sales team led by Nancy Stametelos (eCommerce Director) smashed their 2020 sales targets in less than twelve months. These exceptional results led to rapid expansion of the online channel during a global pandemic which has transformed the retail sector.

Harrolds is an Australian luxury department store with a proud history. Founded in 1985 on Melbourne’s Collins Street, they’re home to over 70 local and international designers.

eStar’s strong collaboration with Harrolds enabled the business to rapidly scale their online channel and navigate a period of significant change. In order to meet customer demand, eStar implemented key services such as 'Store fulfilment' and 'Click & Collect' to help fast-track immediate sales growth.

By implementing a proven data driven approach to user journey analysis, eStar worked with Harrolds to pivot areas of the site to continually improve site engagement, conversions and revenue.

Since launching, Harrolds have achieved staggering growth (revenue and transactions) well above expectations with 2021 proving to be no exception. The results so far speak for themselves.

Future plans include expanding their digital presence, servicing their international customers more effectively with local currency’s and payment options and continually enhancing their digital experience such as introducing live chat, engaging video content and online bookings for concierge services.
