Record Black Friday and Cyber Monday results for Viare & eStar Clients

Just like that, another Black Friday and Cyber Monday are done and dusted. Viare and eStar clients achieved record Black Friday and Cyber Monday results with hourly data showing higher shopper intensity and more consistent engagement across the full four-day window. 

Notable spikes on Black Friday afternoon and a strong late evening lift on Cyber Monday. This aligns with broader market trends, where later purchasing peaks are driven by mobile traffic and accelerated promotional cycles.

Sales value grew YoY, supported by improved conversion rather than larger baskets, which highlighted enduring consumer price sensitivity despite strong promotional responsiveness. Cyber Monday delivered the sharpest year-on-year value uplift in the 7 pm–10 pm window, influenced by “buy now” urgency.

Retailers who invested in fulfilment automation, inventory accuracy, and channel consistency saw the biggest performance gains. The drivers are clear:
